About our artist:

 Lloyd S. Jones was a highly respected author, illustrator and aviation artist. He researched and designed art for the likes of Revell, Monogram, and many other major manufacturers in the airplane model industry. He has many detailed model aircraft residing in the Smithsonian.

 He authored and illustrated several (award-winning) historical aviation books. He has also written the highly respected fiction novel “Black Rainbow”.

Lloyd was a life member of the International Plastic Modelers Society (IPMS), and American Aviation Historical Society (AAHS).
